Acard is indicated for the prevention of ischemic heart disease and secondary infarction, as well as for the prevention of post-infarction complications. The indications for use are also: unstable coronary artery disease, suspected recent myocardial infarction, coronary angioplasty, ischemic stroke and peripheral arterial occlusive disease. The preparation can be used in all situations where it is necessary to inhibit platelet aggregation.
1 tablet contains: active substance: acetylsalicylic acid 75 mg and excipients: powdered cellulose, corn starch, sodium carboxymethyl starch; shell: hypromellose, methacrylic acid copolymer type C, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), colloidal anhydrous silica, sodium bicarbonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, triethyl citrate, anti-foaming emulsion.
Acetylsalicylic acid effectively inhibits the aggregation of platelets - due to the fact that the tablets are coated, they do not disintegrate in the stomach and reduce the irritating effect of the acid on its mucosa.
Orally, one tablet (75 mg) daily. Enteric-coated tablets should be taken after meals, swallowed whole with a little water.
Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid derivatives, hemorrhagic diathesis, active gastric or duodenal ulcer disease, severe renal and hepatic insufficiency, aspirin-induced asthma. The drug can not be used in the last trimester of pregnancy, as well as in children under 12 years of age with viral infections.
