    Indications:

    ACC 200 mg in the form of tablets is intended for use as a drug to thin the secretion of the respiratory tract and facilitate its expectoration. Indicated for use in the case of bronchitis associated with colds. Addressed to adults and children over 6 years of age.

    Properties:

    The active ingredient of ACC 200 mg is acetylcysteine. This derivative of the amino acid cysteine ​​increases the secretion of mucus in the respiratory tract, reduces its viscosity and liquefies the deposited secretion, facilitating its transport - it improves the function of the respiratory epithelium. Thanks to this, it helps to clear the respiratory tract, facilitates expectoration, and at the same time does not disturb the natural cough reflex. Acetylcysteine ​​is also used as an antidote for paracetamol poisoning.

    Composition:

    active ingredient: acetylcysteine
    other ingredients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, citric acid, sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin, magnesium stearate, lemon flavor

    Use:

    Adults and adolescents after the age of 14: 200 mg 2-3 times a day.
    Children 6-14. years of age: 200 mg twice a day.
    The preparation should be taken after a meal.
    The tablet can be swallowed (without chewing) with a sufficient amount of liquid or dissolved in 0.5 glass of water and drunk immediately after dissolving.
    The preparation should not be used immediately before bedtime (no later than 4 hours before bedtime).
    The preparation should not be used for more than 4-5 days without a doctor's recommendation.

    Important information:

    ACC 200 mg should not be used if you are allergic to any component of the preparation.
    The drug is also not recommended in the case of:
    - an active stomach or duodenal ulcer,
    - acute asthmatic condition,
    - reduced ability to cough up secretions.
    It should not be used in children under 6 years of age.
    Not recommended for pregnant women and women during breastfeeding, due to insufficient data on safety and efficacy.
