A 0.05% aqueous solution of potassium permanganate is used topically as a disinfectant for skin cleansing, festering wounds, ulcers, and also hands. A 0.025% aqueous solution of potassium permanganate is used topically as a disinfectant for rinsing the mucous membranes of the throat and mouth.
1 tablet contains: active substance: potassium permanganate 100 mg.
The preparation is intended for topical use. The preparation is used exclusively in the form of a solution of potassium permanganate, prepared by dissolving the tablet in water. Potassium permanganate solutions have a disinfecting and astringent effect on the skin and mucous membranes.
The preparation is intended for the preparation of a solution of potassium permanganate for topical use. Preparation of 0.05% solution: dissolve 1 tablet of the preparation in 200 ml of boiled water. The solution should be purple. Preparation of 0.025% solution: dissolve 1 tablet of the preparation in 400 ml of boiled water. The solution should be pink. The solution must not be swallowed. Use freshly prepared solutions.
Allergy to any of the ingredients of the preparation, do not use orally, do not wash eyes, pregnancy, lactation.
