Description
Indications
Weak or moderate pain of various origins (pain during teething, toothache, headache, earache, sore throat, postoperative pain, pain due to damage to soft tissues), fever.
Composition
1 suppository contains 125 mg of ibuprofen and the excipient: solid fat.
Action
Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic.
Dosage
Rectally; for children from 2 to 4 years (12.5-17 kg): 1 suppository at a time, maximum 3 suppositories a day; children from 4 to 6 years (17-20.5 kg): 1 suppository at a time, a maximum of 4 suppositories a day. After taking a single maximum dose, the next one should be taken after at least 6 hours.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; in patients with a history of bronchospasm, asthma, rhinitis or urticaria after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; with active or past peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and / or duodenum and in people with gastrointestinal bleeding; with severe liver or kidney failure and with uncontrolled heart failure; with systemic lupus erythematosus, with severe heart failure. The drug should not be used in the last trimester of pregnancy.
