    Indications

    For the symptomatic treatment of fever, pain of various origins, mild to moderate (pain during teething, toothache, earache, sore throat, postoperative pain, pain due to soft tissue damage) in infants weighing more than 6 kg (from 3 months of age) ).

    Composition

    1 suppository contains: active substance 60 mg ibuprofen. In addition, the drug contains: solid fat (Wiepsol H 15), solid fat (Witepsol W 45).

    Action

    Analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory.

    Dosage

    Rectal: should be used only in children over 3 months of age, weighing not less than 6 kg. The maximum single dose of 10 mg per kg body weight should not be exceeded. A minimum of 6 hours should elapse between the next dose. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 20-30 mg ibuprofen per kg of body weight divided into 3 to 4 single doses. Nurofen for children should be used according to the following dosing schedule (the child's weight is more important than his age). Children weighing 6 to 8 kg (approx. 3-9 months of age): 1 suppository; if necessary, another suppository after at least 6-8 hours. Do not use more than 3 suppositories in a day. Children weighing from 8 to 12.5 kg (approximately 9 months to 2 years): 1 suppository; if necessary, another suppository after at least 6 hours; do not use more than 4 suppositories in 24 hours

    Contraindications

    Allergic (hypersensitive) to ibuprofen or other similar painkillers (NSAIDs) or any of the other ingredients; if you have ever had shortness of breath, asthma, runny nose or hives after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other similar painkillers (NSAIDs); gastric and / or duodenal ulcer; if you have ever had gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation; severe failure of the liver, kidneys, heart; with systemic lupus erythematosus; in the last trimester of pregnancy; in infants weighing less than 6 kg (3 months of age).
