This preparation works on the muscles of the intestinal parasites. Immobilized parasites are removed from the intestine by peristaltic movements of the intestines. Pyrantel does not irritate the intestines or make the worms travel. It affects mature forms and early-stage parasites, but it does not affect the larvae during their migration in the tissues. The active substance is pyrantel.
