Acidolit in the unflavored version is recommended especially for infants under 6 months of age and children prone to allergies. Acidolit , sachets are used to replenish fluids and minerals in the body both during diarrhea and diarrhea combined with vomiting. The powder contained in the sachet, when dissolved in water, forms an oral rehydration fluid with reduced osmolarity. Acidolit can be used in infants, children and adults.

Children weighing up to 4 kg: 50 ml after each diarrheal stool or vomiting; children weighing 4-8 kg: 50-100 ml after each diarrheal stool or vomiting; children weighing 8-12 kg: 100-150 ml after each diarrheal stool or vomiting; children weighing over 12 kg: 100-200 ml after each diarrheal stool or vomiting.

Dissolve the content of 1 sachet in 200 ml of boiled, cool water, mix. The solution should not be sweetened. Babies and toddlers can use the liquid in a bottle with a teat. If vomiting occurs, the fluid should be administered chilled, in small portions at small intervals (e.g. every 5 minutes).
