Additional fluid intake enhances the mucolytic effect of the preparation.

Overdose can cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. There is a risk of hypersecretion in children.
There is no specific antidote for ACC poisoning, therapy is symptomatic.
