ALLEGRA® is an antihistamine for the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children over 12 years of age.

Fexofenadine hydrochloride - the active substance of the preparation is a non-sedating antihistamine of the group of antagonists of specific H1 receptors. The effect of the preparation on the elimination of bubbles and itching of the skin is manifested within 1 hour after administration and lasts for 24 hours. The preparation does not affect psychomotor functions and reaction speed, therefore, when taking it, you can drive a car and perform work that requires concentration.

Symptomatic treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children over 12 years of age.

Hypersensitivity to fexofenadine hydrochloride or other components of the preparation.

Age up to 12 years due to lack of adequate safety and efficacy data.

Children

The preparation should not be used by children under 12 years of age.

Pregnancy.

There are insufficient data on the use of pregnant women. Limited animal studies do not indicate direct or indirect effects on pregnancy, embryonal/fetal development, parturition or postnatal development. Fexofenadine hydrochloride should not be used during pregnancy, except in cases of extreme necessity, when the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the possible risk to the fetus.

Breast feeding.

Since fexofenadine passes into breast milk, the preparation cannot be used during breastfeeding.

The recommended dose of fexofenadine hydrochloride for adults and children over 12 years of age is 180 mg per day in one dose, that is, one tablet of 180 mg 1 time per day.

Oral administration.

Active substance: fexofenadine hydrochloride 1 tablet contains fexofenadine hydrochloride 180 mg (equivalent to 168 mg of fexofenadine).

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, povidone, titanium dioxide (E 171), colloidal silicon dioxide, macrogol 400, a mixture of iron oxide yellow (E 172) and a mixture of iron oxide pink (E 172) .

Store at a temperature not higher than 25 °C. Keep out of the reach of children.
