excipients: lactose monohydrate, cellulose microcrystalline starch corn povidone K-25 magnesium sodium starch stearate (type C) silicon colloidal sodium dioxide lauryl sulfate
shell composition: hypromellose, macrogol 6000.
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients, hydroxyzine or piperazine derivatives.
Severe renal dysfunction (creatinine clearance below 10 ml / min).
Hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency (Lapp) or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome.
Children
The use of the preparation is not recommended for children under 4 years of age.
For children under 4 years of age, it is advisable to prescribe the preparation in the form of a syrup.
Method of administration and dosage
Administered orally with a glass of water. Swallow the tablets without chewing.
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 mg (1 tablet) once a day.
Elderly patients
There is no data indicating the need to reduce the dose for the elderly if renal function is not impaired.
Patients with moderate to severe renal impairment
There are no data on the ratio of efficacy / safety for patients with impaired renal function. But since cetirizine is excreted by the kidneys, if an alternative treatment is not possible, the intervals between doses of the preparation should be determined individually, depending on the function of the kidneys.
For children with impaired renal function, the dose should be prescribed individually, taking into account creatinine clearance, the age and body weight of the patient.
Patients with impaired liver function
There is no need for dose adjustment in patients with impaired liver function.
