Ambroxol is a syrup with an expectorant and mucolytic effect (it thins mucus).

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using the lacquer.
orally, the recommended dose for use is:
- children from 1 to 2 years of age: 1.25 ml of syrup 2 times a day;
- children from 2 to 5 years of age: 1.25 ml of syrup 3 times a day;
- children from 6 to 12 years of age: 2.5 ml of syrup 2-3 times a day;
- adults and children over 12 years of age: initially, for 2-3 days, use 5 ml of the syrup up to 3 times a day. Then the dose should be reduced to 5 ml of syrup twice a day.
The recommended dosage applies to acute respiratory diseases. In the case of chronic diseases, the dose should be reduced to half. Use the preparation with caution in children up to 5 years of age. The preparation should not be administered overnight.
Expectorant and mucolytic (thins mucus) - increases the amount of mucus in the respiratory tract, reduces its viscosity, accelerates the transport of secretions in the respiratory tract, which facilitates expectoration and soothes coughing.
Allergy (hypersensitivity) to the ingredients of the preparation; bronchospasm.
5 ml of the syrup contains the active substance 30 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride and auxiliary substances: liquid sorbitol, non-crystallizing; glycerol 85%, benzoic acid, propionic acid; banana essence; Purified Water.
Acute and chronic respiratory diseases with difficulty expectoration of sticky bronchial secretions, such as: acute bronchitis, inflammation of the nose and throat, cystic fibrosis.
