1 ml of varnish contains: active substance: 50 mg of amorolfine, in the form of amorolfine hydrochloride. The other ingredients are: anhydrous ethanol, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, triacetin, ammonium methacrylate copolymer (type A).

The nail polish is applied to the infected fingernails and toenails once or twice a week until the nails are completely healed. A treatment course of six months (for fingernails) or nine to twelve months (for toenails) is usually required, depending on the severity of the infection. Nails grow back at a rate of about 1 to 2mm per month. It is recommended that treatment be assessed at intervals of approximately 3 months.
