Tablets "Angeliq" are used for the following indications:
One tablet contains (active ingredients):
estradiol (in the form of estradiol hemihydrate) - 1.0 mg;
drospirenone - 2.0 mg.
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, pregelatinized starch, povidone 25000, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, macrogol 6000, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxide red (E 172).
If HRT was prescribed for the first time or there is a transition to Angeliq from a combined preparation for continuous HRT, then taking Angeliq tablets can be started at any time. If there is a transition to "Angeliq" from a cyclic combination preparation for HRT, the current cycle of therapy should be completed before starting the use of the preparation "Angeliq".
Dosages - one tablet per day. Each package is designed for a 28-day course of treatment.
Take the tablet without chewing with a small amount of liquid. The treatment is carried out continuously, that is, taking the tablets from the next package is started immediately after the end of the previous package, without any intervals. Tablets should preferably be taken at the same time. If there is a delay in taking the next pill, you should take it as soon as possible. If the next tablet has not been taken for more than 24 hours, you do not need to take an additional tablet. If several tablets were missed in a row, bleeding may begin.
For the treatment of postmenopausal symptoms, the lowest effective dose is used.
The lowest effective dose for the shortest duration is used to initiate and continue therapy for postmenopausal symptoms.

The preparation "Angeliq" is contraindicated in pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding.
Children
The preparation "Angeliq" is not ostentatious for use in children and adolescents.
Drivers
The preparation does not affect the reaction rate when driving vehicles or working with other mechanisms.
In clinical studies conducted with the participation of male volunteers, doses up to 100 mg of drospirenone were well tolerated. Based on the general experience with the use of combined oral contraceptives, it has been established that overdose can cause nausea, vomiting and vaginal bleeding in girls and some women. There is no specific antidote, treatment should be symptomatic.
The most commonly reported adverse reactions with Angeliq were breast pain (> 10%) and, during the first months of therapy, bleeding and spotting (> 10%), which usually disappeared as treatment continued. The frequency of bleeding decreases as the duration of therapy increases.
