Angilex is a complex antiseptic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, analgesic agent for topical use. The antiseptic effect is associated with the suppression of the oxidative reactions of bacterial metabolism. The antifungal effect is associated with a violation of the synthesis of the cell wall of fungi. The anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect is caused by inhibition of the activity of the enzyme cyclooxygenase COX 1 and COX 2, inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, and stops the functions of macrophages and neutrophils.
The active ingredients of Angilex are hexetidine, chlorobutanol hemihydrate, choline salicylate.
Adults and children over 6 years of age are prescribed for the treatment of inflammatory and infectious, as well as severe febrile or purulent diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx, requiring the appointment of antibiotics and sulfonamides:
Spray: adults and children over 15 years old are prescribed 1 irrigation 4-6 times a day. Children from 6-15 years old receive 1 irrigation 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 5 days.
Solution: adults and children over 6 years of age are prescribed to rinse the mouth with a diluted solution (2 teaspoons of the solution, diluted with ¼ a glass of warm water) from 2-4 times a day. The course of treatment is not more than 5 days.
Alcohol intoxication may occur, since ethyl alcohol is present in the preparation. In case of an overdose, symptomatic treatment is performed.
With prolonged use, it can disrupt the microflora of the oral cavity.
