Interacting with mucus glycoproteins, it increases the barrier function of the mucous membrane of the digestive tract. The active substance sorbs (absorbs) and removes toxins and radionuclides from the body, thereby providing absorption and detoxifying effects. In addition, diosmectite protects the mucous membrane of the digestive tract from aggressive factors such as hydrochloric acid, bile acids and pepsin.
