    Product description 

    Arilental tablets are indicated for:
    • Treatment of schizophrenia in adults.
    • Treatment of moderate to severe manic episodes in bipolar I disorder, as well as for the prevention of the development of new manic episodes in adults who have had a previous manic episode and are responding to treatment with aripiprazole.

    Compound

    Active ingredient: aripiprazole;
    1 tablet contains aripiprazole - 10 mg.
    Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose (type 101) lactose monohydrate, corn starch hydroxypropyl cellulose; cellulose microcrystalline (type 102); magnesium stearate.

    Contraindications

    Hypersensitivity to aripiprazole and other components of the drug.

    Mode of application

    The drug is used inside.
    In case of simultaneous administration of strong CYP3A4 inducers with aripiprazole, the dose of aripiprazole should be increased. If a CYP3A4 inducer is excluded from the combination regimen, the dose of aripiprazole should be reduced to the recommended dose.

    Due to insufficient information on the safety of aripiprazole during pregnancy, the drug can be prescribed only when the expected benefit to the pregnant woman outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.

    Overdose

    The potentially medically important symptoms that were observed were lethargy, high blood pressure, drowsiness, tachycardia, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

    Side effects

    The most common adverse reactions were akathisia and nausea.

    Interaction

    Due to antagonism to α1-adrenergic receptors, aripiprazole may enhance the effect of some antihypertensive drugs.
    Since aripiprazole affects the central nervous system (CNS), caution should be exercised in case of concomitant use of alcohol or drugs that affect the central nervous system, due to possible cross-adverse reactions, such as sedation.
    Aripiprazole should be used with caution in combination with other drugs that prolong the QT interval or disrupt electrolyte balance.

    Storage conditions

    Store in original packaging at temperatures not exceeding 25°C.
    Keep out of the reach of children.
    Shelf life - 3 years.
