    Product description

    BioGaya Protectis ORD is used as a dietary supplement for children from 4 months and adults to restore water and electrolyte balance and as a source of viable lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis. BioGaia® Protectis® ORS / BioGaia Protectis ORS is rapidly absorbed by the body and helps to restore the natural microflora in the gastrointestinal tract, improve digestion and compensate for the loss of fluid and electrolytes, occurs with vomiting, diarrhea, acetone syndrome, intoxication of any origin (increased body temperature, infectious diseases, food poisoning). Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis®: normalize the intestinal microflora, colonize the epithelium and multiply in all its parts,. They produce antimicrobial compounds reuterin and reterocycline, inhibit the growth of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms; activate the immune system, increase the number of CD4 + cells (a group of T-lymphocytes), thereby helping to protect the body from infections. L. reuteri promotes the breakdown of lactose by producing lactic acid and acetic acid. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, adhere to the following dosage recommendations for BioGaia® Protectis® ORS / BioGaia Protectis ORD. It is recommended to consult a doctor before starting the appointment. Should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

    Mode of application

    Dissolve 1 sachet in 250 ml of chilled boiled water. It is important to use at least the specified amount of water, since the intake of excess salts in the child's body is dangerous! Attention! To prepare the product, use water of guaranteed safety and quality! Do not use water from wells and capturing sources to prepare the solution.
    Calculation of the dose for the consumption of the diluted product according to the formula:
    body weight (kg) x 75 = amount to be consumed per day in ml (ml).
    If body weight is unknown, follow these guidelines:

    * Application of BioGaia® Protectis® ORS / BioGaia Protectis ORD for children up to
    4 months (or weighing less than 8 kg) is possible only as directed by a doctor.
    For children under 2 years of age, take the solution in small portions with a pipette or a teaspoon every 1-2 minutes. Do not use the feeding bottle to give the baby the solution.
    If vomiting occurs when using the solution (most often due to the fact that the solution is drunk too quickly), you must wait until the vomiting stops completely and give the solution to the child with a teaspoon every 2-3 minutes.
    It is not a drug. Dietary supplement.

    Contraindications

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the product, impaired renal function, diabetes mellitus. If the child is overworked, does not want to drink, there is a delay in urination, be sure to consult a doctor

    Compound

    1 sachet contains at least 109 viable bacteria Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938, trisodium citrate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, zinc sulfate, glucose sweetener. Without GMO.

    Storage conditions

    Store in the manufacturer's packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C in a dry, protected from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. The finished solution can be stored for 3 hours at room temperature or 6 hours in the refrigerator.
    Shelf life is 2 years.

    Helped a lot with tummy problems. I have tried different probiotics and this one turned out to be the best. Unfortunately, the price is quite high, but it's really worth it.

    The product is simply amazing!!! In the season, from autumn to spring, I give my son 5 drops (on a teaspoon together with cod liver oil and drops with vitamins) and the young one does not get sick at all. Of course, sometimes a runny nose will get tangled up, but it's literally for 2-3 days. Sometimes we also take weekly breaks (forced, when it ends ;)) We have been testing for 2 years and they are great. It's a pity that the price is so high :( A year ago we bought for PLN 20 in a brick-and-mortar pharmacy. Now you can buy it online for PLN 31. Although in a regular pharmacy it can be PLN 9 more expensive than in a brick-and-mortar pharmacy.

    I gave this product to both my older son and my younger daughter when they had problems with colic in infancy and during illness to strengthen the body. I still give it to children when their immunity is low. The children were not allergic to it, but I heard that it varies. Others recommend dicoflor drops, but my daughter had painful bloating after it, so it all depends on the child. Biogaia has worked well for us and is still working. you can add drops on a teaspoon to porridge, milk, or when you have a calmer child;) put directly into the mouth. I recommend

    My 3-month-old baby started taking a probiotic due to painful bites, he tensed up and cried with gas. Noticeable improvement after about a week of use. He tensed much less and the gases were no longer painful, ie he no longer cried with them. The disadvantage is the small packaging and in my case feeding, I exclusively breastfeed, so I can't add drops to the milk, initially I put them on a spoon and then into the mouth but such a baby can't lick it and a lot of these 5 drops stayed on the spoon. Later, I started putting drops directly into my mouth, but it takes some practice. Overall, the dosage is a bit cumbersome for me, but it works.

    The product is highly praised by all pediatricians I visited with my 2-month-old daughter. It is hard to say whether it has any special effect, we have been using these drops practically from the very beginning.

    We got them because the baby is premature. It's hard to say if they help, but I don't get sick, so I guess it's ok :) dosing in drops is convenient, but if there is less than 1/3 of the bottle left, you have to get tired...
