BIOTYLEK MAX is used to treat biotin deficiencies with symptoms such as hair loss, abnormal growth of nails and hair and their excessive brittleness, inflammation of the skin around the eyes, nose, mouth, perineum and preventing the consequences of deficiencies, after the doctor has excluded other causes.
The other ingredients (excipients) are: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica. BIOTYLEK MAX contains lactose
The preparation is administered orally. The recommended dose is 5 to 10 mg of biotin daily. If your doctor decides to start treatment, your doctor may prescribe a different schedule. The duration of treatment depends on the nature and course of the disease. Symptoms disappear after about 4 weeks of use. For people who have difficulty swallowing, the tablet can be crushed and dissolved in a little water.

Steroid hormones can accelerate the breakdown of biotin in the tissues.
Avidin, an basic glycoprotein found in egg white, has the ability to bind to
biotin, inactivating it and preventing its absorption. In case of biotin deficiency or
taking its preparations, you should not eat raw chicken egg white.
Valproic acid lowers the activity of biotin metabolizing enzymes.
Antibiotics can reduce the concentration or potency of biotin by disrupting the microflora
intestinal.
BIOTYLEK MAX with food, drink and alcohol
While taking the preparation, you should not consume raw egg white at the same time, as this may inhibit biotin absorption. Alcohol reduces the amount of biotin in the blood.
Pregnancy
The amount of biotin contained in BIOTYLEK MAX significantly exceeds the recommended daily intake for pregnant women, therefore the preparation should not be used in women during this period.
Breast-feeding
