    Product description

    CALPEROS 1000 contains calcium carbonate which is a source of ionized calcium for the body.

    Dosage

    CALPEROS 1000: 1 hard capsule (400 mg calcium) 1 to 3 times a day.
    Do not take more than 1,200 mg of calcium ions a day, i.e. not more than 3 CALPEROS 1000 hard capsules.

    Composition

    Calcium carbonate 1000 mg.
    Excipients: magnesium stearate, talc, titanium dioxide, indigotine, sodium lauryl sulfate, sulfur dioxide, purified water, gelatin.

    Indications

    states of increased demand for calcium: a period of intensive growth in children and adolescents as well as during pregnancy and lactation.
    improper nutrition with calcium-poor foods
    disorders of calcium reabsorption from the renal tubules
    decreased levels of calcium in the blood with increased levels of phosphorus in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing dialysis and the prevention of increased neuromuscular excitability.
    prophylactically in the prevention and complementary treatment of osteoporosis
    conditions after long-term immobilization and the recovery period after bone fractures
    supportive in the treatment of colds and allergic diseases.

    Contraindications

    hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation
    increased levels of calcium in the blood and excessive excretion of calcium in the urine, eg D3, decalcifying tumors such as myelomas and tumors that spread to the bone, in severe renal failure not treated by dialysis.
    kidney stones
    treatment with cardiac glycosides
    severe hypercalciuria

    Side effects

    The frequency of side effects is defined as follows:
    uncommon: affects 1 to 10 patients in 1,000;
    rare: affects 1 to 10 patients in 10,000.
    Metabolism and nutrition disorders
    Uncommon: too much calcium in the blood, too much calcium in the urine. Gastrointestinal disorders
    Rare: constipation, flatulence, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea.
    Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders
    Rare: pruritus, rash, urticaria.
