special instructions
Celestoderm-v is not intended for use in ophthalmology.
If during treatment skin irritation occurs or signs of hypersensitivity appear, the preparation should be discontinued. In case of secondary infection of the skin, it is necessary to carry out appropriate antibacterial or antifungal therapy. If the desired effect does not occur, the use of corticosteroids should be discontinued until the signs of infection are eliminated.
Any side effects arising from the use of systemic corticosteroids, including inhibition of the function of the adrenal cortex, are possible with their local application. Systemic adsorption of local corticosteroids increases with their long-term use, as well as when applied to large areas of the skin or when using occlusive dressings, especially in children.
Application in children. There are no clinical data on the use of the preparation in children, so it is undesirable to use it in patients of this age group.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding. Due to the fact that the safety of the use of topical corticosteroids in pregnant women has not been established, the appointment of these preparations is possible only if the expected therapeutic effect for the expectant mother clearly outweighs the potential threat to the fetus. Preparations of this group should not be used in pregnant women in high doses and for a long time.
Due to the fact that it has not yet been established whether corticosteroids, when applied topically as a result of systemic adsorption, can penetrate into breast milk, when deciding whether to stop breastfeeding or stop taking the preparation, it is necessary to take into account the importance of the ongoing treatment for the expectant mother.
The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or working with mechanisms. The preparation usually has no effect.
