The preparation is used in inflammation of the oral mucosa and throat.
Adults and children over 12 years of age: on average, suck 1 lozenge 4 to 6 times a day. If the sore throat does not improve within 1-2 days, see your doctor.
Active substance: choline salicylate 150 mg
Auxiliary substances; sucrose, liquid glucose, glucose monohydrate, peppermint oil.
The active substance of Cholinex lozenges - choline salicylate works locally:
- anti-inflammatory,
- pain reliever,
- reducing swelling and congestion of the mouth and throat mucosa,
- bactericidal against some pathogenic microorganisms,
- by increasing salivation, which increases the anti-inflammatory effect.
- inflammation of the oral mucosa and pharynx,
- sore and swollen throat accompanying inflammation,
- as a preparation supporting antibiotic therapy.
- Hypersensitivity to salicylates and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations and other ingredients of the preparation.
- Do not administer to people with esophageal varices due to the risk of haemorrhage.
Rare: allergic reactions (reddening of the skin and rashes, cough, nasal congestion, swelling of the face, tongue, lips, difficulty swallowing or difficulty breathing), damage to the gastrointestinal mucosa (abdominal pain, vomiting, bleeding).
