    Dosage

    Treatment should be started as soon as possible after the wound has healed / sutures have been removed and there is no more exudate. Rub the gel gently into the skin or scar tissue several times a day until completely absorbed. In case of hard and old scars, you can put a gel dressing overnight. Treatment lasts from several weeks to several months, depending on the size of the scar or the presence of contracture.

    Composition

    1 g of gel contains:
    active substances: sodium heparin 50 IU, liquid onion extract 100 mg, allantoin 10 mg.
    excipients: sorbic acid, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, xanthan gum (Kelfrol F), polyethylene glycol 200, fragrance oil (Fragrance 231616), purified water.

    Action

    The preparation stimulates wound healing and counteracts non-physiological scar formation.

    Contraindications

    Hypersensitivity to the active substances - heparin, onion liquid extract, allantoin or any of the excipients of the preparation, unhealed wounds, scars covering large areas of the skin, damaged skin, mucous membranes.

    Side effects

    In rare cases, local skin irritation may occur.

    For me, it's the number TWO of similar specs ... right after Scagel. A poorer composition, peeling after drying, a pleasant but too intense smell, which in the case of scars on the face can be very irritating. Overall, I recommend it because these are not disadvantages that discriminate the product. It's good, but if someone has a slightly thicker wallet, I suggest choosing a slightly more expensive, but richer in composition and non-scaly counterpart.

    I had concerns about the purchase that it would be smelly because it contains onion extract. Completely unnecessary. The gel has a nice, delicate fragrance, spreads well and is absorbed. A tube like a tube, I still translated the product into a more convenient, handy container for different specifics. As for the action, I will not say yet. The gel needs to be used for several months.

    In fact, a reliable assessment will be possible after at least 1 or months of use. Weeks pass now.
    But after a week of lubricating the scar, I noticed that it was softer and it was no longer painful to touch (it is a deep postoperative scar). I started using the Mac only 3 months after the surgery.

    I used it 10 years ago and in fact, after regular use, the scar has become lighter and you can hardly see it at all. Currently, I have also reached for this product twice a day and you can really see the effects after using the tube.

    I've been lubricating for five months at least twice a day and the effects are not very visible. One day my friend and I had hips operated on. He doesn't lubricate, and I still use contractubex, and you can't tell the difference between his scar and mine. I hope it will change, but I am not sure.

    It smells a bit like an onion. It's not the worst smell, but if someone is very sensitive or needs to apply close to the face, the first minutes can be tiring. Besides, it's hard to judge the action. Maybe after six months of use it will be visible whether the scar is visible or not.
