    Indications.

    Essential hypertension.

    Contraindications.

    - hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any component of the preparation
    - cardiogenic shock
    - unstable angina
    - acute myocardial infarction (during the first 4 weeks)
    - acute attack of angina pectoris;
    - secondary prevention of myocardial infarction
    - malignant hypertension (the safety of the preparation has not been studied)
    - high degree aortic stenosis;
    - ileostomy or colostomy;
    - simultaneous administration of rifampicin (due to the inability to achieve effective plasma levels of nifedipine due to enzyme induction)
    - period of pregnancy.

    Compound

    active ingredient: nifedipine;
    1 tablet contains nifedipine 40 mg
    Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, cellulose, lactose, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, colloidal silicon dioxide, macrogol, talc, red iron oxide (E172), titanium dioxide (E 171).

    Method of application and dose.

    Doses of the preparation and the duration of treatment are determined by the doctor individually, according to the severity of the disease and the patient's response to treatment.
    Depending on the patient's condition, in each individual case, the dose should be increased gradually until the optimal therapeutic effect is achieved.
    Patients who have severe disorders of cerebral circulation (severe cerebrovascular disease), the preparation should be prescribed in reduced doses.

    The average daily dose is 1 tablet 1 time per day (40 mg 1 time per day).
    mode of application
    The preparation is taken orally in the morning 30 minutes before breakfast, without chewing, with a sufficient amount of liquid (for example, 1 glass of water). Tablets are recommended to be taken at the same time. It is necessary to avoid the use of grapefruit juice along with the preparation.
    Simultaneous ingestion of food increases the bioavailability and maximum concentrations of the active substance in the blood plasma.
    Corinfar® Uno 40 tablets must not be separated, because after that the protection from light that provides the coating of the tablet will not be guaranteed.
    The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor.
    Special patient groups
    Children and teenagers. The safety and efficacy of nifedipine treatment in children (under 18 years of age) have not been established.
    Elderly patients (˃ 65 years). Given the pharmacokinetic parameters, there is no need to change the dose for patients over the age of 65 years.
    Impaired liver function. Patients with impaired liver function may require close supervision, and in some cases, dose reduction.
    Renal failure. Given the pharmacokinetic parameters, there is no need to change the dose for patients with renal insufficiency.
    Children.
    The safety and efficacy of nifedipine in children (under 18 years of age) have not been established. The preparation should not be used in children.
