Description
Indication
Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, other inflammatory diseases of joints and spine, soft tissues. a short course is prescribed for tendinitis, bursitis, postoperative pain syndrome, dysmenorrhea.
Application
Internally during or after meals. in the first 3 days, diclofenac is prescribed 25-50 mg 2-3 times a day, sometimes the daily dose is increased to 100-150 mg (in 4-6 doses). the duration of the course of treatment is 40 days on average, the course dose of the preparation is from 3 to 6 mg, for children over 6 years of age and adolescents, the preparation is prescribed at a dose of 0.5-2 mg/kg per day in 2-3 doses. in the treatment of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, the dose may be increased to 3 mg/kg per day, which corresponds to the maximum daily dose for children.
Contraindication
Gastric and duodenal ulcer disease, liver and kidney disease, iii trimester of pregnancy and breastfeeding period, hypersensitivity to the preparation, urticaria, acute rhinitis and other allergic reactions caused by taking NSAIDs, age up to 6 years. do not prescribe or use only under the supervision of a doctor in cases of diabetes, hypersensitivity to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations, chronic or recurrent dyspeptic symptoms, indications of an ulcer in the anamnesis, impaired liver and / or kidney function, chronic heart failure, tendency to bleeding.
Side effects
Nausea, anorexia, epigastric pain, flatulence, constipation, diarrhea. in some cases, especially with frequent and long-term use of the preparation, erosive and ulcerative lesions of the mucous membrane of the digestive tract with signs of gastrointestinal bleeding (melena), as well as headache, depression, drowsiness, hematuria, proteinuria, nephrotic syndrome, OPN, very rarely - thrombocytopenia, anemia (due to occult bleeding from organs of the digestive tract), allergic reactions (especially in patients with BA) - skin rash, itching, erythema, bronchospasm.
Interactions
When taken simultaneously, diclofenac reduces the effects of furosemide and hypotensive preparations, increases the concentration of digoxin in the blood plasma. simultaneous use with potassium-sparing diuretics can lead to the development of hyperkalemia. with simultaneous use with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations or glucocorticosteroids, the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding increases. it is undesirable to combine diclofenac with methotrexate and cyclosporine.
Overdose
Manifested by headache, psychomotor agitation, irritability, dizziness, convulsions.
In case of acute poisoning, gastric lavage, administration of activated charcoal, and symptomatic treatment are indicated.
