    Method of application and dosage

The dosage regimen should be set individually, taking into account the indications and severity of the condition.
Diclofenac-Darnitsa should be taken orally, the tablets should be swallowed without chewing, after meals, with a sufficient amount of water.
The preparation should be used in the smallest effective doses for the shortest period of time, taking into account the task of treatment in each patient separately.
    Adults
The initial dose is usually 100-150 mg per day. For unexpressed symptoms, as well as for long-term therapy, a dose of 75-100 mg/day is sufficient. Divide the daily dose into 2-3 doses. To avoid night pain or morning stiffness, preparation treatment can be supplemented with rectal suppositories containing diclofenac before bedtime. The daily dose of the preparation should not exceed 150 mg.
With primary dysmenorrhea, the daily dose is selected individually, usually it is 50-150 mg. The initial dose can be 50-100 mg, but if necessary, it can be increased over several menstrual cycles to a maximum of 200 mg per day. The use of the preparation should be started after the onset of the first painful symptoms and continue for several days depending on the dynamics of symptom regression.
    To children
Tablets in a dose of 25 mg can be used by children aged from 8 years (with a body weight of at least 25 kg) to 18 years according to the doctor's prescription in a daily dose of 0.5-2 mg/kg of body weight depending on the severity of the symptoms: divide this dose into 2 ˗3 receptions.
For example, for a child with a body weight of 30 kg, the daily dose can be from 15 to 60 mg. Based on this range, the child can be prescribed 2 tablets of 25 mg 2 times a day.
In the treatment of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, the daily dose can be increased to 3 mg/kg - the maximum daily dose.
Do not exceed the maximum daily dose - 150 mg.
    Elderly patients.
Although the pharmacokinetics of the preparation is not impaired to any clinically significant degree in elderly patients, NSAIDs should be used with particular caution in patients who are generally more prone to adverse reactions. Especially for debilitated elderly patients or for patients with a low body weight, it is recommended to use the lowest effective doses; also, patients should be examined for gastrointestinal bleeding during treatment with NSAIDs.
