Product description
"Diclofenac Euro" tablets are used for the following indications:
inflammatory and degenerative forms of rheumatic diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, spondyloarthritis);
pain syndromes from the spine;
rheumatic diseases of extra-articular soft tissues;
acute attacks of gout;
post-traumatic and postoperative pain syndromes accompanied by inflammation and swelling, for example, after dental and orthopedic interventions;
pain and / or inflammation accompanying inflammatory gynecological diseases, for example, primary dysmenorrhea or adnexitis;
as an adjuvant in severe inflammatory diseases of the ENT organs, accompanied by a feeling of pain, for example, in pharyngotonsillitis, otitis.
According to the generally accepted approaches to the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases, it is also necessary to use etiotropic agents. Fever in itself is not an indication for the use of the preparation.
Storage
The active substance is diclofenac sodium (one tablet contains diclofenac sodium 50 mg).
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide colloidal anhydrous, croscarmellose sodium, methacrylate copolymer dispersion, sodium hydroxide, diethyl phthalate, polysorbate 80 (Tween 80), titanium dioxide (E 171), dye Sunset Yellow FCF ( E 110).
Contraindication
hypersensitivity to the active substance or other components of the preparation;
acute stomach ulcer and/or duodenal ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation;
bleeding or perforation of the gastrointestinal tract in history, associated with previous treatment with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory preparations (NSAIDs);
an active form of ulcer disease / bleeding or recurrent ulcer disease / bleeding in history (two or more separate episodes of diagnosed ulcer or bleeding);
inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis);
the last trimester of pregnancy;
liver failure;
kidney failure;
congestive heart failure (NYHA II-IV);
ischemic heart disease in patients with angina pectoris who have suffered a myocardial infarction;
cerebrovascular diseases in patients who have suffered a stroke or have episodes of transient ischemic attacks;
diseases of peripheral arteries;
treatment of perioperative pain during aorto-coronary bypass surgery (or the use of an artificial blood circulation device);
like other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations, diclofenac is also contraindicated in patients in whom the use of ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations provokes attacks of bronchial asthma, angioedema, urticaria or acute rhinitis, nasal polyps and other allergic symptoms.
Application method
According to general recommendations, the preparation should be used in low effective doses that are sufficient to alleviate the symptoms of the disease for a short period of time.
Tablets should be taken whole, without chewing, with a small amount of water during or after a meal.
For adults, the recommended dose is 100-150 mg per day. The daily dose should be divided into 2-3 doses. After achieving the optimal therapeutic effect, the dose can be gradually reduced to a maintenance level of 75-100 mg per day. The daily dose should not exceed 150 mg.
With primary dysmenorrhea, the daily dose of the preparation "Diclofenac Euro" should be selected individually. The daily dose is usually 50-150 mg. The initial dose can be 50-100 mg, but if necessary during the next few menstrual cycles, the dose can be increased to the maximum - 200 mg per The use of "Diclofenac Euro" tablets should be started when the first symptoms appear and continue for several days, depending on the reaction and symptoms.
The preparation should be used in the most effective doses for a short period of time, taking into account the task of treatment in each individual patient.
Features of application

"Diclofenac Euro" should not be used during the I and II trimesters of pregnancy, except if the potential benefit of using the preparation for the mother exceeds the potential risk for the fetus, and only in the minimum effective dose, and the duration of treatment should be as short as possible.
"Diclofenac Euro" is contraindicated during breastfeeding.
Children
The preparation in this dosage is not used for children.
Drivers
Usually, when taking the preparation in the recommended doses and with a short course of treatment, there is no effect on the speed of the reaction. However, patients who experience visual disturbances, dizziness, drowsiness or other central nervous system disturbances, lethargy or fatigue when using the preparation "Diclofenac Euro" should not drive vehicles or work with other mechanisms.
Overdose
Symptoms
There is no typical clinical picture characteristic of diclofenac overdose. Overdose can cause such symptoms as dizziness, disorientation, headache, drowsiness, coma, nausea, vomiting,diarrhea, abdominal pain, epigastric pain, gastrointestinal bleeding, psychomotor agitation, ringing in the ears, convulsions, loss of consciousness; in case of severe poisoning, the development of acute kidney failure and liver damage is possible.
Treatment
Treatment of acute poisoning with NSAIDs, including diclofenac, consists of supportive and symptomatic therapy.
Side effects
From the blood and lymphatic system: agranulocytosis, hemolytic anemia; aplastic anemia; anemia associated with internal bleeding; ecchymosis; leukopenia; neutropenia; thrombocytopenia with / without purpura, pancytopenia. The first signs may be fever, pharyngitis, superficial sores in the mouth, flu-like symptoms, severe apathy, nosebleeds, skin bleeding.
From the side of the immune system: hypersensitivity, anaphylactic / anaphylactoid reactions (including hypotension), angioedema, including swelling of the face, tongue, internal swelling of the pharynx, allergic vasculitis and pneumonia.
Mental disorders: disorientation, depression, insomnia, irritability, nightmares, psychotic disorders.
On the part of the nervous system: headache, dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, paresthesias, memory impairment, convulsions, anxiety, tremor, aseptic meningitis, taste disturbance, stroke, confusion, cerebral blood circulation disorders, hallucinations, sensitivity disorders, general malaise.
On the part of the organ of vision: visual disturbances, blurred vision, diplopia, optic neuritis.
From the organs of hearing and the labyrinth: vertigo, ringing in the ears, hearing disorders.
From the side of the cardiovascular system: arterial hypertension, arterial hypotension, palpitations, arrhythmia, cardialgia, collapse, chest pain, nosebleeds, vasculitis, tachycardia, congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, Kounis syndrome.
From the respiratory system: shortness of breath (difficulty breathing), asthma (including shortness of breath), pneumonitis.
From the gastrointestinal tract: gastropathy (pain in the stomach and discomfort in the epigastric area, nausea, vomiting, feeling of fullness of the stomach, belching, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, hemorrhagic diarrhea, abdominal pain, dyspepsia), erosive and ulcerative disorders of the digestive tract (including disorders of the esophagus, stomach, ulcer, gastrointestinal ulcer without bleeding or perforation, multiple ulcers of the digestive tract), perforation of the stomach or intestines (intense cutting pain, burning sensation in the epigastric area, the presence of blood in the stool, melena, vomiting with blood) sometimes fatal, especially in elderly patients; gastritis, gastrointestinal bleeding, nonspecific colitis with or without bleeding, esophagitis, dry mouth, constipation, toxic hepatitis.
From the side of the hepatobiliary system: an increase in the level of transaminases in blood serum, fulminant hepatitis, hepatitis accompanied and not accompanied by jaundice, impaired liver function, fulminant hepatitis, liver necrosis, liver failure.
From the side of the skin and subcutaneous tissue: itching, skin rashes (mainly erythema, urticaria), skin hyperemia, bullous rash, exanthem, eczema, erythema, exudative erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell's syndrome), erythroderma (exfoliative dermatitis), photosensitization, photodermatitis (severe sunburn, skin rashes, pigmentation disorders), hair loss, purpura, including allergic purpura.
On the part of the kidneys of the urinary system: fluid retention, vaginal pain of unknown origin, periodically recurring, dysmenorrhea, hematuria, cystitis, pollakiuria, proteinuria, interstitial nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, oliguria or anuria, decreased kidney function, peripheral edema, especially in patients with arterial hypertension or renal failure, medullary necrosis of the kidney, papillary necrosis of the kidney, acute renal failure.
From the reproductive system and mammary glands: impotence.
Infections and infestations: Exacerbation of infection-related inflammation (eg, necrotizing fasciitis) has been reported with systemic use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations.
