Angi Sept lozenges are indicated for the local treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx with symptoms such as sore throat, hoarseness, difficulty swallowing.
Active ingredients: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol, menthol, anethole, peppermint oil;
1 lozenge contains 1.2 mg of 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol, 5.4 mg of menthol, 2.4 mg of anethole, 0.6 mg of peppermint oil;
cherry-flavored lollipops: sucrose, glucose syrup (dry matter), purified water, citric acid, cherry flavor containing propylene glycol, natural cherry flavor containing ethanol, beet root powder, hibiscus extract;
lollipops with sea buckthorn flavor: sucrose, glucose syrup (dry matter), purified water, citric acid, sea buckthorn flavor, gardenia extract containing propylene glycol, beet root juice;
sage-flavored lollipops: sucrose, glucose syrup (dry matter), purified water, citric acid, ammonia sulfite caramel (E 150d), sage oil, eucalyptus oil;
honey flavored lollipops: sucrose, glucose syrup (dry matter), honey, purified water, linden blossom flavor, contains propylene glycol, ammonia sulfite caramel (E 150d), gardenia extract containing propylene glycol;
lemon-flavored lollipops: sucrose, glucose syrup (dry matter), purified water, citric acid, citric oil, lemon flavor, lime flavor containing butylhydroxyanisole ester, red orange flavor, beta-carotene 1% (E 160a).
Hypersensitivity to active substances, plants of the umbrella family containing anethole (fennel, cumin, celery, coriander and dill), or any excipients.
Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
For adults and children over 6 years old, slowly dissolve 1 lozenge in the mouth every 2-3 hours, but not more than 6 lozenges per day. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually, but usually is 2-3 days. The preparation should not be used for more than 2 weeks.
Pregnant
The preparation is not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation.
Children
Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
In case of an overdose, gastric disorders are possible (feeling of fullness in the stomach, heartburn, pain in the epigastric region, nausea, vomiting), diarrhea, rectal ulcer, epileptic seizures, loss of consciousness, apnea, heart rhythm disturbances, ataxia and other reactions from the central nervous system, probably due to the presence of menthol.
In case of overdose, gastric lavage is recommended. It is necessary to monitor the patient and, if necessary, apply symptomatic treatment.
Skin hypersensitivity reactions may occur, including rash, hives, swelling, or from the respiratory system, pain in the lips, tongue, or sore throat. The frequency is unknown.
