DROP Therapeutic is an ophthalmic solution containing vitamins B2, E, sodium hyaluronate and amino acids. It has a protective effect on the corneal epithelium and accelerates the natural process of its recovery.

ROP Therapeutic indications:

• patients who underwent corneal crosslinking;
• patients with keratoconus;
• with dry eye disease;

Amino acids:

L-proline is one of the most important components of collagen protein - the basis of all tissues in the human body. Maintains normal connective tissues (eye sclera, blood vessels).

L-glycine is a central inhibitory neurotransmitter that improves metabolic processes. It has a positive effect on muscular dystrophy.

L-lysine has anti-inflammatory, decongestant, analgesic effect. Increases vascular tone, has a moderate immunocorrective and hypoglycemic effect.

L-leucine is involved in protein synthesis, activates cellular and humoral immunity, increases the function of phagocytes, activates the biosynthesis of amino acids, their precursors and metabolites, prevents metabolic disorders, occurs during stress.

Vitamins B2 and E in the form of tocopherol polyethylene glycol succinate (TPGS), contained in the solution, interact with the outer lipid layer of the tear film, creating a protective barrier to prevent excessive tear fluid evaporation.

Sodium hyaluronate mechanically interacts with the mucin layer of the tear film, retaining moisture and ensuring the stability of the tear film.

The synergistic action of amino acids ensures the nutritional function of the ocular surface, helps regulate the pH and osmolarity of the lacrimal fluid, and improves the protection of the epithelium from various damaging factors.
