    Indications

    Pain ailments of various origins of mild and moderate intensity, including headache, toothache, muscle pain, joint pain, ailments associated with colds and flu with fever. Medical conditions requiring long-term use of high-dose acetylsalicylic acid, such as rheumatoid arthritis (prescription only).

    Composition

    1 tablet contains: 500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid and excipients: corn starch; modified corn starch; hypromellose; methacrylic acid copolymer; talc; titanium dioxide (E 171); triethyl citrate; cochineal red lake (E 124); colloidal anhydrous silica; sodium bicarbonate; sodium lauryl sulfate.

    Action

    Analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory.

    Dosage

    The preparation should be taken with or after a meal. Swallow the tablets whole with plenty of liquid. It relieves pain and fever. Usually used:
    Adults: 500 mg to 1000 mg once (1 to 2 tablets). If necessary, the dose can be repeated 2 or 3 times a day.
    Adolescents over 16 years of age, only on medical prescription: 500 mg to 1000 mg (1 to 2 tablets) daily. The lowest effective dose should be used. Symptomatic treatment without medical advice can be carried out for no more than 3 days.

    Contraindications

    Allergy to acetylsalicylic acid or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6), allergic (hypersensitive) to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations with symptoms such as: bronchospasm, rhinitis, shock, bronchial asthma, chronic medical conditions respiratory system, hay fever or swelling of the nasal mucosa, as patients with these conditions may react to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations with asthma attacks, limited swelling of the skin and mucosa, active gastric and / or duodenal ulcers, and inflammation or bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract (gastrointestinal bleeding or ulceration may occur), severe liver, kidney or heart failure, blood clotting disorders (e.g. haemophilia, thrombocytopenia) and when the patient is receiving concomitant treatment with anticoagulants (e.g. coumarin derivatives, heparin) , deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (a rare hereditary disease) if you are concomitantly receiving methotrexate in doses of 15 mg per week or more due to the harmful effects on the bone marrow, in children under 16 years of age, if you are in the third trimester of pregnancy or breastfeeding.
