    Product description

    Femiclin vaginal tablets are used for the following indications:
    • Vaginal infections of bacterial and fungal origin (for example, bacterial vaginosis and candidiasis).
    • Trichomoniasis.
    • Sanitation before gynecological operations and childbirth.

    Structure

    Active ingredient: dequalinium chloride;
    1 vaginal tablet contains 10 mg of dequalinium chloride;
    Excipients: lactose, monohydrate; microcrystalline cellulose; magnesium stearate.

    Contraindications

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.
    Ulcers of the epithelium of the vagina and cervix.
    Childhood.

    Mode of application

    It is recommended to use 1 vaginal tablet every day for 6 days. The vaginal tablet is inserted deep into the vagina in the evening before bed. It is better to do this while lying on your back with your legs slightly bent.
    During menstruation, treatment should be interrupted and continued after it has stopped.
    It is necessary to continue treatment, even if there is no discomfort (itching, discharge, odor). Treatment for less than 6 days may lead to relapse. The course of treatment is 6 days.

    Can be used during pregnancy or lactation. But, as in the case of preparations in general, care should be taken when prescribing Femiclin to pregnant women in the first trimester of pregnancy.

    Side effects

    General disorders and local reactions at the injection site
    In rare cases, itching, burning, or redness may occur. However, these adverse reactions can also be associated with symptoms of a vaginal infection.
    In individual cases, local irritation reactions are possible, such as bleeding from vaginal erosions. In these cases, there was a preliminary damage to the surface of the vaginal epithelium due to estrogen deficiency or local inflammation.
    Fever has been reported very rarely.
    Hypersensitivity reactions are possible.

    Interaction

    Interaction with other preparations is unknown. If necessary, the simultaneous use of any preparations should consult a doctor.
    Femicline is incompatible with soap and other anionic surfactants.
