    Indications

    Mucolytic treatment in acute and chronic bronchial and lung diseases with disturbances in mucus production and transport.

    Composition

    1 effervescent tablet contains the active substance: 60 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride and excipients: anhydrous citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, anhydrous sodium carbonate, sodium saccharin, sodium cyclamate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, anhydrous lactose, mannitol (E 421), sorbitol (E 420 ), cherry flavor, simethicone.

    Action

    Thinning of secretions to facilitate expectoration.

    Dosage

    The usual dose of the preparation: adults and children over 12 years of age during the first 2-3 days, 1/2 tablet 3 times a day, then 1/2 tablet of the preparation 2 times a day. In adults, if necessary, the dose can be increased to 1 tablet of the preparation 2 times a day (the maximum dose). The preparation should be taken orally, after a meal, after dissolving the tablet in a glass of cold or warm water. Do not use the preparation immediately before going to bed. The effervescent tablet can be divided into equal halves. The preparation should not be used for more than 4-5 days without consulting a doctor.

    Contraindications

    Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients; children under the age of 12.
    During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the preparation can be used only if expressly prescribed by a doctor.
    Use with caution in patients with gastric and duodenal ulcer disease, impaired renal function and / or severe liver failure, bronchial asthma (the preparation increases cough and causes excessive expectoration), with impaired bronchial motility (possible mucus stasis).
    The preparation contains 175.2 mg of sodium per tablet. This should be taken into account in patients with reduced renal function and in those who are on a controlled sodium diet.
    The preparation contains the sweetener aspartame, which is a source of phenylalanine. The preparation may be harmful for patients with phenylketonuria.
