Flavamed syrup is a preparation indicated for use in the case of respiratory diseases. Recommended in lung and bronchial diseases associated with impaired mucus production and transport. The syrup dilutes the mucus and makes it easier to expectorate. Intended for children from 1 year of age, adolescents and adults.
Flavamed syrup contains the active substance ambroxol. This substance is characterized by secretolytic and mukokinetic effects. Amroxol stimulates the secretion of surfactant in the alveoli and reduces its viscosity. It intensifies the activity of cilia in the respiratory epithelium and the secretion of serous bronchial secretions, which facilitates the transport of mucus in the respiratory tract. Flavamed syrup therefore increases the secretion of less sticky mucus and stimulates its transport to the outside. It helps the body to quickly clear the airways.
