Product description

"Flu-acyl Rino" is a combined nasal spray with mucolytic and decongestant action to eliminate thick and viscous nasal mucus in rhinitis and sinusitis.

"Flu-acyl Rino" helps to loosen mucus and makes it easier to remove it from the nose. Reduces swelling of the mucous membrane and reduces hypersecretion, which helps to restore physiological nasal breathing.

In the treatment of inflammatory processes in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, the mucolytic and antioxidant effect of N-acetylcysteine is complemented by the decongestant effect of a hypertonic sodium chloride solution, which helps to eliminate edema and restore physiological nasal breathing.

Properties

N-acetylcysteine

The acetylated version of the amino acid cysteine has a mucolytic effect upon direct contact with mucus. This is due to the presence in the molecule of sulfhydryl radicals capable of destroying the disulfide bonds of mucoproteins that provide mucus viscosity by depolymerization. It has an indirect antioxidant effect associated with an increase in the synthesis of an antioxidant compound - glutathione, as well as a direct antioxidant effect, protecting cells from damage by free radicals.

Sodium chloride

Hypertonic saline solutions, which are applied directly to the mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract, take water from the intracellular to the extracellular space by osmosis. This increases the percentage of water in the nasal secretion lining the epithelium (sol layer), liquefies it and thus facilitates its removal.

Composition

Active ingredients:

N-acetylcysteine - 1.8 g
Sodium chloride - 0.9 g

Excipients: sodium hydroxide, sodium edetate, purified water. No synthetic preservatives.

Indications for use

In acute and chronic rhinitis, mucosal crusts, vasomotor rhinitis, in acute and chronic sinusitis, to alleviate the manifestation of symptoms and the course of acute, subacute and chronic inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components. Children under 3 years old. Pregnancy and lactation period.

Mode of application

Shake well before use. For the correct use of the nasal spray "FLU-ACIL rino", it is necessary to remove the protective cap, slightly tilt the head back, carefully place the nozzle of the dispenser into the nostril, press with two fingers on the base of the dispenser and inject. Repeat this operation with the other nostril. Clean the dispenser and replace the protective cap of the dispenser.

Apply 2-3 sprays into each nostril 2-3 times a day, no more than 10 days in a row, depending on the clinical picture. It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.
