    Indications

    Treatment of dry dermatoses, especially of allergic origin, with signs of a secondary infection sensitive to neomycin, the course of which is accompanied by persistent itching or hyperkeratosis. the preparation is indicated for seborrheic dermatitis, urticarial lichen, atopic dermatitis, allergic contact eczema, erythema multiforme, lupus erythematosus, advanced psoriasis, lichen planus.

    Application

    The ointment is applied to the affected areas of the skin with a thin layer 1-3 times a day. ointment is used for subacute inflammatory processes and lichenification. course of treatment - no more than 2 weeks.

    Contraindications

    Allergy to corticosteroids, hypersensitivity to aminoglycoside antibiotics or other components of the preparation. bacterial, fungal and viral dermatitis, chicken pox, skin tumors, skin cancer, rosacea and acne vulgaris, perianal and genital itching, perioral dermatitis, diaper dermatitis, thrombophlebitis and trophic ulcers against the background of varicose veins, after preventive vaccinations. do not use the preparation on large areas of the skin, especially on long-term non-healing wounds, for example, deep burn wounds. not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age. you can not use the preparation in the first trimester of pregnancy, during breastfeeding.

    Side effects

    Violations of epithelialization, atrophy of the skin and subcutaneous adipose tissue, striae, skin flushing, hyperkeratosis, delayed wound healing, petechiae, hematomas. when applying the preparation to large areas of the skin, especially under an occlusive dressing, neomycin resorption and the development of oto- and nephrotoxicity are possible.

    special instructions

    The preparation  is not recommended to be applied to weeping areas and is not used on the skin of the face and large areas of the skin. use with extreme caution in patients with glaucoma and cataracts, in patients with mild subcutaneous adipose tissue, especially in the elderly. adolescents are prescribed only in exceptional cases and on small areas of the skin, you should avoid applying the preparation to the skin of the face.
    Not recommended for use during pregnancy. With prolonged use of the preparation and when applying the ointment to large areas of the skin, there is a risk of a systemic effect of fluocinolone acetonide.

    Interactions

    During the period of treatment with corticosteroids, vaccination against smallpox or other types of immunization should not be carried out due to the immunosuppressive effect of corticosteroids.
