Fungal infections of the outer and middle ear caused by yeasts (Candida genus), molds (Aspergillus genus) and other fungi.
The active substance is clotrimazole. 1 ml of solution contains 10 mg of clotrimazole. The other ingredients are: macrogol 400; Dilute hydrochloric acid (to adjust the pH to 4.5-7.0), sodium hydroxide (to adjust the pH to 4.5-7.0).
Fungotac is presented as ear drops. The active ingredient in Fungotac is clotrimazole, which belongs to the imidazole group of medicines. Fungotac has an antifungal effect, it fights the cause of fungal infections in the ears.
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The preparation is intended for topical application to the ear. For fungal ear infections, apply 2 or 3 drops of Fungotac to the inside of the ear two to three times a day. After the acute symptoms of the disease have resolved, treatment should be continued for at least 2 weeks until the symptoms have completely disappeared. If there is no improvement or the patient feels worse, see a doctor.
Hypersensitivity to any component. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the preparations you are taking or have recently taken, as well as about the preparations you plan to use. During pregnancy, the use of the preparation is possible only on the order and under the supervision of a physician.
