    Product description 

    Generolone (20 mg/ml), solution for skin application, is indicated for the treatment of male pattern alopecia in men and women aged 18 to 65 years.

    Compound

    Active ingredient: minoxidil;
    1 ml minoxidil 20 mg;
    excipients: ethanol 96%, propylene glycol, purified water.

    Contraindications

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation pheochromocytoma, treated and untreated hypertension diseases of the scalp (including psoriasis and sunburn); shaved scalp; simultaneous use of occlusive dressings or other topical preparations on the scalp. Generolon (50 mg/ml), dermal solution, is contraindicated in women.

    Mode of application

    Generolon 5%, solution for skin application, is intended only for external use by men aged 18 to 65 years.
    Before the first use, it is necessary to initiate the sprayer, for which it is necessary to press it several times in order to achieve a uniform flow of the solution. After that, the device is ready for use.
    Dry your scalp and hair thoroughly before applying the solution.
    With the help of a sprayer, 1 ml of the solution is applied to dry skin in the area of ​​baldness 2 times a day and rubbed lightly, moving from the center to the periphery of the area. With each use, the sprayer must be pressed 10 times to apply 1 ml of the solution. The daily dose should not exceed 2 ml. Wash your hands after each use of the solution.
    To achieve a therapeutic effect, a 2% cutaneous solution should be applied 2 times a day for at least 4 months. To achieve a therapeutic effect, a 5% cutaneous solution should be applied 2 times a day for at least 2 months. After achieving clinical improvement, you need to continue using the preparation to maintain hair growth. There are reports of the resumption of hair loss 3-4 months after discontinuation of minoxidil treatment. Treatment should be discontinued if there is no effect within 1 year of use.

    Interaction

    Generolon should not be used concomitantly with other topical preparations on the scalp.
    Simultaneous use of the preparation Generolon and other topical preparations containing corticosteroids, tretionin, dithranol or white soft paraffin and changing the protective functions of the skin, may enhance the absorption of minoxidil.
    It is possible to increase orthostatic hypotension with the absorption of minoxidil in patients taking peripheral vasodilators, although this has not been clinically confirmed.
