GILAYS® - 0.4% ophthalmic solution of high molecular weight sodium hyaluronate, a product of biotechnological synthesis.
Sodium hyaluronate has mucomimetic, mucoadhesive and viscoelastic properties, thereby improving the stability of the tear film and providing comfort to the surface of the eye - lubrication, hydration and protection.
GILAYS® is a sterile ophthalmic solution. The package contains one bottle of 10 ml, is equivalent to more than 250 drops, the bottle is equipped with an innovative multi-dose ophthalmic push-type dispenser (OSD), without preservatives.
OSD protects the solution from potentially harmful bacteria, the solution remains sterile for 120 days after the first use.
The moisturizing and protective properties of hyaluronate help to eliminate irritation, dryness, burning and foreign objects in the eyes due to the influence of the environment, namely wind, sun, dry air, salt water, smoke, too bright light, conditioned air, heating, long-term operation at the computer, or, in the case of eye surgery, conjunctivitis or frequent or prolonged use of contact lenses.
1 drop in the eye 2-3 times a day, if necessary.
Bury one drop in the eye, gently squeezing the bottle.
After application, in rare cases, a slight short-term blurred vision is possible due to the viscosity of the solution. With this in mind, it is recommended to wait a few seconds before starting activities that require clear vision.
The interval before the instillation of any other ophthalmic agent for external use should be at least 10 to 15 minutes.
The shelf life after opening the bottle is 120 days.
After the end of use, the bottle should be disposed of properly.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not swallow.
The medical device is intended exclusively for ophthalmic use.
Store at room temperature.
The medical device is generally intended to be used continuously for no more than 30 days if symptoms persist, consult a physician.
The medical device contains phosphates. In some patients with severely damaged cornea, in rare cases, the phenomenon of corneal calcification was observed when using eye drops containing phosphates; therefore, it is not recommended to use in therapy of patients with significant damage to the surface of the cornea (for example, with severe erosion or corneal ulcer).
