Goprazol Max is a preparation that has been developed for adults struggling with unpleasant ailments associated with gastroesophageal reflux, such as heartburn or acid regurgitation.
The active substance is omeprazole - a substance indicated for the treatment of reflux symptoms.
Esophageal reflux, in other words gastroesophageal reflux, is the reflux of food and stomach juices into the esophagus. It is a troublesome and quite common disease that manifests itself, among others, by smoking in the esophagus, the risk of which increases with age. Gastroesophageal reflux should not be taken lightly, because if left untreated, it can lead to esophagus damage, chronic inflammation, the so-called reflux oesophagitis and even cancer of the esophagus.
The active substance of Goprazol Max is omeprazole. Omeprazole belongs to a group of medicines called 'proton pump inhibitors' that work to reduce the amount of acid that your stomach produces. It is fast acting and provides symptom control by reversible inhibition of gastric acid secretion. In most patients, heartburn disappears completely within 7 days. After the symptoms have completely subsided, treatment should be discontinued.
One hard gastro-resistant capsule contains 20 mg omeprazole (Omeprazole).
The auxiliary substances are:
capsule content - sucrose, grains (containing e.g. corn starch and sucrose), sodium lauryl sulfate (2.5% solution), anhydrous disodium phosphate, mannitol, hypromellose 6 cP, macrogol 6000, talc, polysorbate 80, titanium dioxide (E 171), methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer (1: 1), dispersion 30%;
capsule ingredients: cover: gelatin, quinoline yellow (E 104), titanium dioxide (E 171), purified water; body: gelatin, quinoline yellow (E 104), titanium dioxide (E 171), purified water.
It is recommended to use 10-20 mg once a day for 14 days.
Goprazol Max should be taken in the morning, before eating, and washed down with half a glass of water.
The capsule should be swallowed whole. It should not be chewed or crushed before swallowing.
Goprozal Max contains sucrose.
The preparation should not be used by people taking preparations that contain atazanavir or nelfinavir.
Do not use Goprazol Max in case of hypersensitivity to omeprazole or any of the excipients.
Consult a doctor before taking the preparation during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The product is not recommended for children and adolescents.
