    Product description

    Groprinosin Forte is an antiviral preparation  which additionally increases the body's resistance. The tablets contain inosine pranobex, which allows to inhibit the multiplication of viruses from the Herpex group that are pathogenic for humans (in vitro). Additionally, the preparation stimulates the activity of the immune system. The preparation  can be used in adults and children over 1 year of age * as an adjunct in the period of reduced immunity, in the case of recurrent infections of the upper respiratory tract, as well as in the treatment of herpes on the lips and face caused by the herpes simplex virus. The preparation is indicated only in patients with a history of herpes simplex virus infection.

    Indications

    • Treatment of cold sores on the lips and face caused by the herpes simplex virus.
    • Supportive in people with reduced immunity, in the case of recurrent infections of the upper respiratory tract.

    Composition

    1 tablet contains:
    • active ingredient: inosine pranobex (a complex containing inosine and 2-hydroxypropyl dimethylammonium 4-acetamidobenzoate in a molar ratio of 1: 3) 1000 mg,
    • other ingredients: potato starch, povidone K-25, magnesium stearate.

    Action

    Antiviral and immune support.

    Dosage

    • Adults: usually 1 tablet 3 times a day (the recommended dose is 50 mg / kg body weight daily).
    • Children over 1 year of age *: The recommended dose is 50 mg / kg body weight daily, given in several divided doses.
    • The preparation should be taken orally, washing down the tablet with a sufficient amount of liquid, preferably water.
    • If you find it difficult to swallow the whole tablet, the tablets may be crushed and dissolved in a small amount of liquid to make it easier to take.
    The maximum daily dose for adults is 4 tablets (4 g) per day (i.e. 1 tablet 4 times a day). The usual duration of treatment is 5 to 14 days. After the symptoms disappear, use the preparation for another 1-2 days. If after 5-14 days there is no improvement or the patient feels worse, see a doctor

    Contraindications

    • Allergic to inosine pranobex or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.
    • Gout attack) or increased levels of uric acid in the blood during tests.
    • Do not use in children 1 year of age.

    Storage

    Keep out of the sight and reach of children, at a temperature below 25 ° C.

    Side effects

    Groprinosin Forte, like any other preparation, can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
    Any preparation can cause an allergic reaction, however severe allergic reactions after taking Groprinosin Forte are very rare.
    You should immediately consult a doctor if you experience:
    • sudden wheezing,
    • breathing difficulties,
    • swelling of the eyelids, face, lips,
    • rash or itching (especially if they affect the whole body).
    Very common (more than 1 in 10 patients)
    • increase in blood uric acid, increase in uric acid in urine.
    Common (may affect up to 1 in 10 people):
    • increase in liver enzymes, increase in blood urea nitrogen,
    • nausea, with or without vomiting, stomach pain
    • itchy skin, skin rash (only symptom)
    • headache, dizziness,
    • tiredness or malaise
    • arthralgia.
    Uncommon (may affect up to 1 in 100 people):
    • diarrhea, constipation
    • nervousness,
    • sleepiness or difficulty sleeping (insomnia)
    • increased urine volume (polyuria).
    Not known (frequency cannot be estimated from the available data):
    • epigastric pain,
    • swelling of the face, lips, eyelids or throat may cause difficulty breathing (angioedema)
    • hives, allergic reaction, sudden whole-body allergic reaction (anaphylactic reaction), anaphylactic shock, dizziness, reddening of the skin (erythema).

    Interactions

    Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the preparations you are taking or have recently taken, and about any preparations you plan to take, in particular preparations that may interact with Groprinosin Forte, such as:
    • preparations for the treatment of gout
    • preparations that increase the excretion of uric acid, including diuretics,
    • medicines that suppress the immune system (so-called immunosuppressants)
    • azidothymidine.

    Warnings and Precautions

    * For children who cannot swallow tablets, it is recommended to administer Groprinosin Forte in syrup.
    Start using the preparation should be discussed with your doctor or pharmacist, in particular:
    - if you have a history of gout attacks or increased levels of uric acid in the blood or urine
    - if you have kidney problems,
    - if treatment is prolonged (3 months or more, as kidney stones may form with long-term treatment).
    - If you notice signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, itching, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, throat or tongue, stop treatment immediately and contact your doctor.
    Pregnancy and breastfeeding
    - If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
    - Do not take the preparation during pregnancy and breastfeeding, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
    Driving vehicles and operating machinery
    - It is unlikely that the preparation will affect your ability to drive and use machines.

    There are people around me who say that this drug strengthened their body to such an extent that they did not suffer from: colds, flu, hoarseness, cough and others.
    But is it a result of taking this drug or not ... who can tell?

    Děkuji za zásilku,balíček dorazil v pořádku a proti chřipkám a virům je Groprinosin účinný,vše je OK.U nás,v protektorátu Čechie je zakázán jeho prodej,tady člověka nechají klidně umřít,zde v CZ neseženete vůbec žádný lék,všechno účinné zakázali,je to prašivý pseudostát. Ale každá struna jednou praskne a pak nebudou větve na stromech stačit.

    Ett mycket effektivt läkemedel, jag har behandlats med detta preparat många gånger. Jag sväljer de första symtomen på en rinnande näsa, nysningar, låg feber. redan den andra dagen slutar jag att nysa i tre dagar och efter infektionen. Jag rekommenderar starkt beredningen. Apoteket skickade beställningen mycket snabbt. Telefonkontakt med apoteket utan problem. Jag ger 5 stjärnor tillfredsställelse.
