    Product description 

    Suppositories (candles) vaginal Gynomax are indicated for the treatment of:
    • vulvovaginal candidiasis caused by pathogens of the Candida albicans family;
    • bacterial vaginosis caused by pathogens of the Gardnerella vaginalis family and anaerobic bacteria;
    • trichomonas vaginitis caused by Trichomonas vaginalis;
    • vaginitis caused by mixed infection.

    Compound

    The active substances are thioconazole and tinidazole;
    1 vaginal suppository contains:
    thioconazole - 100 mg;
    tinidazole - 150 mg.
    Excipients: witepsol.

    Contraindications

    Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or their derivatives.
    Drinking alcoholic beverages during treatment or within 3 days after treatment.
    Taking disulfiram during treatment or within 2 weeks after treatment.
    Porfiry.
    Epilepsy.
    Severe liver dysfunction.
    First trimester of pregnancy.
    Breastfeeding period.
    Organic diseases of the nervous system.
    Violations of hematopoiesis, including history.

    Mode of application

    For intravaginal use only. Gynomax should be injected deep into the vagina in the supine position.
    Enter at night before bedtime 1 suppository for 7 days. Alternative scheme: apply 1 suppository twice a day for 3 days.
    Do not swallow or inject elsewhere.

    Overdose

    Systemic side effects can be observed when using a large amount of the preparation, but with intravaginal use, systemic side effects are not expected.
    In case of overdose, symptomatic and supportive therapy should be initiated. Side effects/adverse effects in overdose are not known.

    Side effects

    From the nervous system: weakness, fatigue, feeling unwell, headache, dizziness.
    From the digestive system: metallic / bitter taste in the mouth, nausea, anorexia, loss of appetite, flatulence, dyspepsia, abdominal cramps, unpleasant sensation in the epigastric region, vomiting, constipation.
    From the side of the kidneys and urinary system: dark urine.

    Interaction

    Acenocoumarol, anisindione, dicoumarol, phenindione, phenprocoumon warfarin: increased risk of bleeding.
    Cholestyramine: decreased efficacy of tinidazole.
    Cimetidine: increased plasma concentrations of tinidazole.
    Cyclosporine: increased levels of cyclosporine.
    Disulfiram: side effects from the central nervous system (for example, psychotic reactions).
    Fluorouracil: an increase in the concentration of fluorouracil in the blood and signs of possible intoxication (granulocytopenia, anemia, thrombocytopenia, stomatitis, vomiting).
    Fosphenytoin: Increased toxicity of fosphenytoin and/or decreased blood concentrations of tinidazole.
    Ketoconazole: an increase in the concentration of tinidazole in the blood.

    Store below 25°C out of the reach of children.
