Hascovir Control MAX is a preparation to be used to prevent recurrence of herpes simplex in adults with normal immunity. Its active substance is acyclovir, which inhibits the multiplication of viruses from the herpes group that are pathogenic for humans.
Prevention of recurrence of herpes simplex in adults.
1 tablet contains:
Antiviral.
It should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
If you are allergic to aciclovir, valaciclovir or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Do not use the preparation by people with reduced immunity (e.g. after a bone marrow transplant, HIV-infected).
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the package.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines no longer needed. Such behavior will help to protect the environment.
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

If you experience any side effects, including any side effects not listed in this leaflet, tell your doctor or pharmacist, and if you have taken more than the recommended dose.
If you have been diagnosed with an intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
Immunocompromised people and patients who develop cold sores while taking the preparation prophylactically should consult a physician regarding the treatment of any infection.

While taking this medicine, you should drink plenty of fluids to avoid the risk of kidney damage.
