Adults and adolescents (12 years of age and older):
Place one 5 mg orodispersible tablet of Hitaxa Fast in the mouth once a day to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (including periodic and chronic allergic rhinitis) and urticaria.
Treatment of allergic rhinitis and urticaria with desloratadine without medical consultation should not exceed 10 days. Intermittent allergic rhinitis (symptoms occur less than 4 days a week or less than 4 weeks) should be managed taking into account the patient's medical history. Treatment may be interrupted when symptoms resolve and resumed when symptoms reappear. In chronic allergic rhinitis (symptoms occur on 4 or more days a week and longer than 4 weeks), the patient may be advised to continue treatment during the period of exposure to the allergen.
