    Product description

    Hitaxa Fast Junior is an antiallergic preparation that does not make you drowsy.
    It helps to control the allergic reaction and its symptoms.

    Dosage

    Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor
    The tablet should be placed in the mouth, where it will disintegrate immediately. Water or other liquid is not needed to swallow the dose.
    The recommended dose is:
    Children 6 to 11 years of age: one orodispersible tablet 2.5 mg of Hitaxa fast junior once a day. Take the dose immediately after opening the blister.
    Adults and adolescents (12 years of age and over): two orodispersible tablets 2.5 mg of Hitaxa fast junior once a day. Take the dose immediately after opening the blister.
    Do not use Hitaxa fast junior for more than 10 days without consulting a doctor.

    Composition

    The active substance is desloratadine 2.5 mg.
    The other ingredients are: potassium polacrylin, citric acid monohydrate, red iron oxide (E 172), magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, Tutti Frutti flavor, liquid (also contains propylene glycol), aspartame (E 951), microcrystalline cellulose, mannitol (spray dried ), potassium hydroxide (for pH adjustment).

    Action

    Hitaxa fast junior orodispersible tablets are also used to relieve the symptoms associated with urticaria (a skin condition caused by an allergy). Symptoms of this condition include itchy skin and hives.

    Indications

    Hitaxa fast junior relieves symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages caused by an allergy, for example, hay fever or allergy to dust mites). Symptoms of this condition include: sneezing, itchy or runny nose, itchy palate, and itchy, red, or watery eyes.

    Contraindications

    Do not use Hitaxa fast junior - if you are allergic to desloratadine or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.

    Side effects

    Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
    In adults, the side effects were about the same as with the active-free tablet. However, fatigue, dry mouth and headache were reported more frequently than with the active-ingredient tablet. In adolescents, the most commonly reported side effect was headache.

    Warnings and Precautions

    Hitaxa fast junior orodispersible tablets contain aspartame. Aspartame is a source of phenylalanine and may be harmful for people with phenylketonuria.

    Use of other preparations 

    Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the preparations you are taking or have recently taken, and about any preparations you plan to take.

    Pregnancy and breastfeeding

    Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
    Use of the preparation in children and adolescents
    Do not use the preparation in children under 6 years of age.
