    Product description

    IBUFEN Baby suppositories are used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain in children. Intended for children from 3 months of age in the case of fever of various origins (also in the course of viral infections, in the course of a vaccine reaction) pain of various origins of mild to moderate intensity: headache, throat and muscle aches associated with colds and flu, pain in muscles, joints and bones as a result of injuries to the musculoskeletal system (strains, sprains), pain due to soft tissue injuries, postoperative pain, toothache including teething pain, headache, earache associated with inflammation of the middle ear.

    Composition

    1 suppository contains: active substance: 60 mg ibuprofen and excipients: Witepsol H15, Witepsol W45.

    Use

    Rectally; children from 3 to 9 months (6-8 kg): 1 suppository (60 mg) 3 times a day, at intervals of 6 to 8 hours; do not use more than 3 suppositories a day. Children from 9 months to 2 years of age (8-12 kg): 1 suppository (60 mg) 4 times a day, at intervals of 6 hours. The maximum daily dose of ibuprofen is 20-30 mg per kg of body weight, divided into 3 to 4 single doses. A single dose of 10 mg / kg body weight should not be exceeded. The maximum daily dose should not be exceeded. Do not use in children under 3 months of age. Do not use in children weighing less than 6 kg. The patient should not use the preparation for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.

    Action

    Analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory.

    Indications

    Pain of various origins, fever.

    Contraindications

    Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients of the preparation and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations; in patients with a history of allergy symptoms such as runny nose, urticaria, bronchospasm or bronchial asthma after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations; gastric and / or duodenal ulcer; severe liver failure; severe renal failure; severe heart failure; if you are taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations, including COX-2 inhibitors (increased risk of side effects); 3rd trimester of pregnancy; hemorrhagic diathesis; infants weighing less than 6 kg (3 months of age).
