    Iluminaris a sterile solution with physiological pH for use in ophthalmology.

    Active ingredients

    ILUMINAR contains two lubricants: sodium hyaluronate and hypromellose.
    Sodium hyaluronate is used to moisturize and lubricate dry eyes and create a film that protects the corneal endothelium from external agents and free radical damage.
    Hypromellose is a polymer with mucomimetic properties that stabilizes the tear film on the surface of the cornea, creating a protective transparent and viscoelastic screen.
    Sodium hyaluronate is a molecule that is naturally present in the human body in places where there is a need for constant lubrication (for example, cartilage, skin, tear film), therefore, biocompatible. This lubricant, together with hypromellose, provides intensive and long-lasting hydration of the ocular surface.
    Lubricants attract and retain water from the environment and form a lubricating shield on the surface of the eye. This viscous shield gradually releases water - this is how ILUMINAR provides long-lasting hydration to the eyes.
    In addition, ILUMINAR contains a blend of natural ingredients.
    Distilled water with chamomile is known for its soothing and refreshing properties, therefore it is indicated for the relief of pain and redness of the mucous membranes of the eyes caused by atmospheric agents and environmental factors. Distilled water with aloe vera is known for its moisturizing and bacteriostatic properties, and distilled water with rose hips is known for its vitaminizing and refreshing properties. Distilled water with blueberries is known for its protective effect on the retinal mucosa and is intended for the treatment of tired eyes.

    Advantages

    Mode of application

    • tear off the protective plug before first use;
    • open the bottle by removing the protective cap;
    • instill 1-2 drops in each eye, pressing slightly on the bottle;
    • during the gradual emptying of the bottle, you will have to make an effort to drip the eye. This is due to the properties of the closed vial system, which ensures the preservation of sterility and the chemical and physical characteristics of solutions that do not contain preservatives;
    • after use, close the bottle: the contents are usable for the next 3 months after opening.
    Suitable for frequent use. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, you can apply the product several times a day (2-3 times or more often, if necessary) to ensure adequate hydration of the ocular surface.
    The first time you use this product, your vision may be temporarily blurred. A slight burning sensation, irritation may temporarily occur. If any of these effects continue or get worse, tell your doctor right away.

    Application features

    Composition

    0.2% sodium hyaluronate, 0.2% hypromellose, distilled water with aloe vera, chamomile, blueberries, rose hips, boric acid, sodium tetraborate decahydrate, sodium chloride, water for injection.

    Storage conditions

    Do not store at temperatures not exceeding 25 ° C.
    After opening the bottle, the contents can be used within 3 months.
