Oral drops "Imupret ®" are used for the following indications:

treatment of diseases of the upper respiratory tract (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis);

prevention of complications and relapses in respiratory viral infections due to a decrease in the body's defenses.

100 g of drops contain (active substances) 29 g of water-alcohol extract (extractant ethanol 59% (v / v)) from medicinal plants:

althea root (Radix Althaeae) - 0.4 g;

chamomile flowers (Flores Chamomillae) - 0.3 g;

horsetail herb (Herba Equiseti) - 0.5 g;

walnut leaves (Folia Juglandis) - 0.4 g;

yarrow grass (Herba Millefolii) - 0.4 g;

oak bark (Cortex Quercus) - 0.2 g;

dandelion grass (Herba Taraxaci) - 0.4 m

Excipients: ethanol 19% (v/v), purified water.

Hypersensitivity to any of the active or auxiliary substances of the preparation, as well as to plants of the comfrey family.

Unless otherwise prescribed, the preparation should be used in the following doses:

children aged 1 year:

with acute manifestations - 5 drops 5-6 times a day;

after the decline of acute manifestations and for preventive therapy - 5 drops 3 times a day;

children aged 2 to 5 years:

with acute manifestations - 10 drops 5-6 times a day;

after the decline of acute manifestations and for preventive therapy - 10 drops 3 times a day;

children aged 6 to 11 years:

with acute manifestations - 15 drops 5-6 times a day;

after the decline of acute manifestations and for preventive therapy - 15 drops 3 times a day;

adults and children over 12 years old:

with acute manifestations - 25 drops 5-6 times a day;

after the decline of acute manifestations and for preventive therapy - 25 drops 3 times a day.

The solution should be shaken before use. When instilling the preparation, the vial should be held vertically. Drops are usually taken undiluted. The specified number of drops should be kept in the mouth for a short time and then swallowed. If necessary, drops can be used with a small amount of water. Children can be given drops by adding them to juice or tea.

Even after the disappearance of acute symptoms, it is advisable to continue treatment for another week to prevent relapse of the disease.

The preparation is well tolerated, so it can be recommended for long-term use. For the basic therapy of chronic diseases of the respiratory tract (especially tonsillitis), the preparation must be used for at least 6 weeks.

Children

Children under one year of age should not use the medicine.

Drivers

There is no information on the direct effect of the preparation on the ability to drive vehicles or other mechanisms, but it should be borne in mind that the preparation contains ethanol.

Cases of preparation poisoning due to overdose are unknown.

Treatment: symptomatic therapy.

Gastrointestinal disturbances (such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting) may occur rarely. Allergic reactions (eg rash, itching, shortness of breath) may also occur.

When used in combination with preparations containing chamomile flowers, allergic reactions may occur, as well as in patients with increased sensitivity to other plants of the comfrey family (for example, yarrow (Achillea Millefolium)).

If any adverse reactions occur, you should stop using the preparation and consult a doctor.

Preparations containing oak bark can weaken or block the absorption of alkaloids and other alkaline preparations when used simultaneously.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 25 °C, in a place inaccessible to children.

Shelf life - 2 years.

An opened bottle is suitable for use within 6 months.
