    Product description

    Irigasin is a medical device designed to prepare a solution for rinsing the nose and sinuses.

    Application

    Acute or chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, rhinitis in the course of infections or allergies, before and after surgical procedures of the nose and sinuses, after exposure to high concentrations of dust in the air, prophylactically to maintain proper hygiene of the nose and sinuses.

    Usage method

    Adults and children over 4 years of age: rinsing the nose and sinuses 1-2 times a day or as directed by a doctor. Children may only use the product under the supervision of an adult. To prepare an isotonic solution, pour 1 sachet of powder into the bottle and then fill it up to the marked line with 240 ml with boiled, cooled water. To prepare a hypertonic solution, pour 2 sachets of powder into the bottle, and then fill it up to the marked line with 240 ml with boiled, cooled water. Only the bottle provided with the nasal and sinus irrigation set should be used for rinsing. Use a freshly prepared solution for each rinse.

    Ingredients

    Sodium chloride.

    Contraindications

    Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to sodium chloride. Do not use in cases of complete blockage of the nose, preventing the escape of the solution. Do not use in case of infection or the feeling of ear clogging. If you have had ear surgery, consult your doctor before use. Children may only use the product under the supervision of an adult. Use in children under 4 years of age should be consulted with a doctor. Do not use later than one hour before bedtime.

    The isotonic sodium chloride solution cleans the nasal cavities of residual secretions, bacteria, viruses and allergens, and cares for the nose and sinuses. An additional advantage of the isotonic solution is the moisturizing effect on the dried nasal mucosa as a result of long-term use of nasal drugs or as a result of staying in air-conditioned or excessively heated rooms.
    Hypertonic sodium chloride solution, in addition to its cleansing effect, due to the higher concentration of the active substance, has osmotic properties, thanks to which it reduces mucosal swelling. It is therefore recommended in the case of nasal edema accompanying rhinitis during an infection or allergy (hay fever), as well as sinusitis.

    It quickly and effectively eliminates mucosa swelling, hay fever, and everything that lingers in the sinuses. However, after 1 use, you must wait 3.4 days before the next use, even with the basic solution from 1 sachet, otherwise the ear may become clogged, blood from the nose may run out or run down the throat. All these 3 effects are not very pleasant. Before it starts to work, it is best to irrigate immediately before bathing in the bathtub, because during the bath everything that did not fall out directly after irrigation will flow out into the sink.

    After preparation, the liquid is gentle on the mucosa, it does not irritate, it helps me in the daily cleaning of the sinuses in case of chronic sinusitis, and gives relief. Works best when the water is lukewarm, not warm. A cheap alternative to the expensive American version of Sinus Rinse, although the composition is poorer.

    I decided to give this solution a chance. Previously, I used saline in ampoules, but irigiasin itself is cheaper. After a few days of use, a slight improvement in sinus patency, I hope that after a month of use there will be a significant improvement.

    Irigasin works in the same way as the American Sinus Rinse drug, but is much cheaper.
    I would work on opening the sachet, because when you have wet hands, it cannot be opened. The bottle is also ok.
