Kalms is a plant medicine in the form of round coated tablets, the active substances of which are extracts of hop cone root, valerian root and gentian yellow root. This medicine is used for mild symptoms of nervous tension and to help you fall asleep. The effectiveness of Kalms is based solely on its long-term use and experience.
Kalms is used in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age in cases of:

The preparation can be taken by diabetics. 1 tablet contains 248 mg of sucrose (0.02 bread unit).
The preparation reduces mild states of nervous tension and makes it easier to fall asleep.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: in mild symptoms of nervous tension: take a single dose of 3 tablets, up to 3 times a day. Up to 4 times a day.
As a sleep aid: take a single dose of 3 tablets half an hour before bedtime. Another dose may be taken in the evening if necessary.
If your symptoms persist after 4 weeks of taking Kalms, or you feel worse, see your doctor.
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
The preparation is not intended for children and adolescents under 12 years of age.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the package. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Like all medicines, Kalms can cause side effects, but not everybody gets them.
After taking the preparation, gastrointestinal disorders in the form of nausea, spasms in the abdominal cavity can be noted.

The use of this preparation with synthetic sedatives is not recommended.
