Kerato VitA® is used for the long-term improvement of the quality of the tear film and the intensive protection of the eye surface. The cell-protective properties of the preparation enable normal re-epithelialization in the event of dryness disorders.
Kerato VitA® is a preservative-free eye ointment that contains petroleum jelly, liquid paraffin, lanolin, cetostearyl alcohol and purified water, as well as vitamin A, vitamin E and D-panthenol.
Thanks to its delicate and soft texture, Kerato VitA® spreads very well on the surface of the eye. The ingredients of the preparation, especially vitamin A, which is a natural component of the tear film, ensure a particularly good tolerance of the preparation. Kerato VitA® reduces symptoms such as burning sensation, dryness and eye fatigue. Blinking becomes easier.
D-panthenol, which is converted into pantothenic acid in the body, is one of the B vitamins. D-panthenol increases the water-binding capacity, is well absorbed by the skin and has moisturizing properties.
Kerato VitA® relieves the symptoms of dryness, irritation or mild irritation for a long time, which may be caused by:
environment, e.g. air conditioning, wind, or air pollution e.g. from cigarette smoke
eye strain caused by prolonged looking at the monitor screen, through a microscope or while driving for a long time
mechanical stress, e.g. caused by the use of hard or soft contact lenses or by performing eye diagnostic procedures.
Kerato VitA® is usually used 3 times a day for long-term improvement of the tear film quality and intensive surface protection. To obtain an intense and long-lasting effect with irritated eyes, it is especially recommended to use the preparation before going to sleep.
Remove the cap from the tube, tilt your head slightly back, pull the lower eyelid gently and squeeze the tube carefully, place a 0.5 cm long strip of the preparation in the conjunctival sac, slowly close your eye and then carefully close the tube.
The preparation should be used continuously for more than 30 days.
After use, the preparation may temporarily cause blurred vision. During this period, you should not drive or use machines until your vision is normal.

Kerato VitA® should not be used simultaneously with the use of contact lenses.
When Kerato VitA® is used with other ophthalmic preparations, leave a 30-minute interval between administering Kerato VitA® and other ophthalmic preparations. Kerato VitA® should always be used last.
Avoid touching the tip of the tube to both the eye and the skin of the face to prevent infections or eye injuries. Avoid bending or twisting the tube to avoid damaging it.
