Indications

Symptomatic therapy of painful and inflammatory processes of various origins, including:

inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system:

rheumatoid arthritis;
seronegative arthritis: ankylosing spondylitis - ankylosing spondylitis,
psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis (Reiter's syndrome);
gout, pseudogout;
osteoarthritis;
tendinitis, bursitis, myalgia, neuralgia, sciatica;

pain syndrome, including mild, moderate and severe:

headache;
post-traumatic and postoperative pain syndrome;
pain syndrome in cancer;
algodismenorrhea;

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to ketoprofen or other components of the preparation, as well as salicylates or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparationы (NSAIDs);
complete and incomplete combination of bronchial asthma, recurrent polyposis of the nasal mucosa or paranasal sinuses and intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid and other NSAIDs (including a history);
peptic ulcer of the stomach or duodenum in the acute stage, as well as gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding and perforation;
chronic dyspepsia, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis; Crohn's disease, acute diverticulitis;
hemophilia and other blood clotting disorders (including hemorrhagic diathesis);
children's age (up to 15 years old);
severe liver failure, active liver disease;
severe renal failure (creatinine clearance (CC) less
30 ml / min), progressive kidney disease, confirmed hyperkalemia;
decompensated heart failure, postoperative period after coronary artery bypass grafting;
cerebrovascular and other bleeding;
III trimester of pregnancy;
breastfeeding period;
lactase deficiency, lactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.

1 capsule contains: pellet core: active ingredient: ketoprofen - 150.00 mg; excipients: microcrystalline cellulose (type 101) - 34.00 mg; lactose monohydrate - 20.00 mg; povidone K 25 - 5.00 mg; croscarmellose sodium - 10.00 mg; polysorbate 80 - 1.00 mg; pellet shell: Eudragit RS 30 D (ethyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate and trimethylammonioethyl methacrylate copolymer [1: 2: 0.1]) - 4.908 mg; eudragit RL 30 D (ethyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate and trimethylammonioethyl methacrylate copolymer [1: 2: 0.2]) - 4.908 mg; triethyl citrate - 0.880 mg; polysorbate 80 - 0.008 mg; talc - 1,760 mg; iron dye yellow oxide - 0.080 mg; talc - 0.200 mg; colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide - 0.200 mg; capsule: capsule 1 L 970 / 53.051: 1 pc .; indigo carmine (E 132) - 0.4%; titanium dioxide (E 171) - 0.9%; gelatin - up to 100%.

Method of administration and dosage

Adults and children over 15 years old

Inside.

The standard dose of Ketonal®DUO for adults and children over 15 years old is 150 mg / day (1 modified-release capsule). The capsules should be taken with or after meals with water.

The maximum dose of ketoprofen is 200 mg / day. You should carefully assess the risks and benefits of treatment before using the preparation at a dose of 200 mg / day (see section "Special instructions").

Patients with hepatic and / or renal impairment

When used in patients with hepatic and / or renal insufficiency, it is recommended to reduce the initial dose of the preparation, while maintaining the minimum effective dose in the future. The use of ketoprofen in patients with severe renal and / or hepatic impairment is contraindicated.

Elderly patients

In elderly patients, it is recommended to reduce the initial dose of the preparation, while maintaining the minimum effective dose in the future. Elderly patients are more likely to develop adverse reactions.

Children

The preparation should not be used in children under 15 years of age.
